Change Begins to Bloom for the Children in Kenya

We are thrilled to announce that the foundation for the first two classrooms is almost done. The water well is underway and we can hear the sewing machines working as the uniforms begin to take shape. There were a few delays, one from the rain, and two for the presidential elections; when is election time in Kenya just, about the whole country freezes waiting for the announcement of their next president. We are glad this elections did not turnout like the last ones, there was actually peace. We continue to get feedback on how excited the children are in seeing the classrooms being built – they see future, their hopes are revived and their excitement is filled with smiles.

For those of you have donated to the Prints of Hope International “Project Kenya”, THANK YOU. We are only half way of our $90,000 goal, which will build four classrooms (all equipped), two water wells, bathroom facilities and for the first time provide new uniforms and shoes for 600 children. We still need $51,958 to reach this goal and though it seems overwhelming your donation of $20, 50, 100 or more… will contribute to reach this goal.
