Project Update Zambia 2025

After a long journey with 17 dedicated volunteers, our team arrived in Livingstone, Zambia, filled with hope and expectation. As we stepped off the plane, we were met with a downpour—forecasted to continue for the entire week. Immediately, we gathered together and asked God to hold the rain during the days we would be serving. In what we can only describe as our first miracle of the trip, the rain ceased on every day we worked. God made a way where there seemed to be none.

Throughout our time in Zambia, we encountered firsthand the harsh realities of life in under-resourced communities—especially the daily struggles surrounding access to clean water. Moved by the need, we were overjoyed to witness God’s provision in allowing us to install a brand-new water well—our 23rd well in Zambia—strategically placed at the intersection of three villages near our construction site.
This well has already begun transforming lives, especially for the women and children who no longer have to walk long distances multiple times a day. Some villagers draw water 6–8 times daily—for drinking, cooking, watering animals, and farming—and now they can do so safely and with dignity.

In addition to the well, a much-needed church building was constructed during our visit. The gratitude expressed by the congregation was deeply moving. Many shared that they had never imagined being able to worship in such a space. It was a clear reminder of how physical structures can uplift and unite a community spiritually.

One of the most vibrant parts of the mission was our Vacation Bible School (VBS) program, which served over 180 children daily. Each day, children learned about God’s creation, His deep love for them, His plan for redemption, and the gift of salvation. The lessons were based on stories from the Dress A Child coloring book, presenting the gospel in a way that was both engaging and culturally relevant.
Every child who attended VBS was also provided with a nutritious lunch, ensuring that their bodies were nourished as much as their hearts.

On the final day, each child received new toys, clothing, and shoes—a beautiful demonstration of God’s love through practical gifts. The joy on their faces was unforgettable and served as a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact.
Join Us in Making a Lasting Impact
This mission was a testament to what God can do through willing hearts and generous hands. Lives were changed, hope was restored, and the love of Christ was made tangible in word and deed. But the work is far from over.

There are still villages without clean water, children who have never heard the gospel, and communities in need of a place to worship. You can be part of the next miracle.
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to continue this life-giving work? Whether it’s through a one-time gift or ongoing support, every donation brings help, healing, and hope to those who need it most.
